· Information we collect

When you contact us directly — by email or through a form — we collect the information you choose to share: your name, email address, company, and the content of your message.

When you simply browse the site and have given consent to analytics, we collect aggregated technical data through Google Analytics 4: a pseudonymised identifier, a truncated IP address, the pages you visit, referral source, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, and operating system. If you decline, none of this is collected. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to work are set by default.

· How we use your information

We only use your data for purposes directly related to our work — responding to messages, reviewing job or collaboration inquiries, sharing updates if you've signed up for them, and making our website better. We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers or external marketing platforms.

· Cookies and tracking

We use two categories of cookies and similar storage:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g. storing your cookie choice in localStorage under ledges_consent_v1). These don't require consent and are always active.
• Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-LPRW36PH91), used only with your explicit consent to understand how the site is used in aggregate. These cookies are set by Google, which acts as our data processor.

Before you choose, we load Google's tags in Consent Mode v2 with analytics storage denied by default, so nothing is tracked until you opt in. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and respected on future visits.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Gestisci cookie" link in the site footer — it reopens the consent banner. You can also clear cookies and site data from your browser settings.

· Legal basis and data transfers

We process your data on two legal bases under the GDPR: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics, and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in replying to messages you send us and keeping the site secure.

Google Analytics may transfer data outside the EU/EEA, including to the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months; contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

· Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. To exercise any of these rights, or to lodge a complaint, write to support@ledges.it. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

· Data security

We take reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While no online system is completely secure, we do our best to ensure your data is protected.

· Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to check back occasionally if you want to stay informed.

· Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including texts, graphics, logos, images, videos, trademarks, trade names, software, and other materials (the "Materials"), is the property of Ledges or its affiliated clients and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Use of the Site does not grant you any rights over the Materials. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial purposes, with proper acknowledgment of Ledges's copyright.
